MCU Countdown Planner
Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters December 18, 2026, so I built a little web app to make sure I'm caught up on all 38 Marvel Studios films before then. You enter today's date, pick which days of the week you're free, and choose release or chronological order. It builds a day-by-day watch schedule that spreads the films out by runtime, so Endgame's three hours doesn't land on top of other movies. It shows how many days you have left, your total runtime, and an average load per viewing day. It also warns you if any day gets too heavy. You can check off each film as you finish it, with a progress bar that saves in your browser, and print the schedule for the fridge.
How it works
Start date: Defaults to today's date, which is Nov 1, 2026. That leaves 47 days for the 38 films. You can change it.
Finish: Pick Dec 17 or Dec 18 as the last day.
Days you can watch: Tick the weekdays you're free. The schedule only uses those days.
Watch order: Release order or in-universe chronological order. The chronological order is my rough ordering, so check it against your preferred list.
Schedule: Films are spread across your viewing days in order, so each day has a similar total runtime (Endgame's 3 hours isn't stacked with other films). Each day shows its date, films, and total time.
Progress: Check off films as you watch them. Checkmarks and the progress bar are saved in your browser.
Other buttons: Print, and Clear progress.
Warning: If your busiest day would run over 8 hours, it tells you to add more days.
